WomanCraft provides a supportive work environment where women can earn income, engage in meaningful work, improve job skills an build a work history. All of the women who work at WomanCraft are current and former participants and tenants of Deborah’s Place, a women's shelter in Chicago, Illinois, who are now employed as artisans, making handmade, recycled paper and unique jewelry items. The women of WomanCraft developed this set of 4 light green notecards exclusively for us and each set is made from recycled paper so its not only a beautiful set of cards, but friendly for the earth, too. And, as a bonus - your recipient can throw the card out into the dirt - literally - since their card and envelope will not only go back into the earth, but the cards have wildflower seeds embedded in them so they will grow beautiful flowers in the spring and summer months!
