Village Artisans also shares a conscience for our environment. The beauty and uniqueness of our books is a result of ancient paper making traditions practiced in India. Each is made by hand from 100% recycled cotton - so no tree has fallen to bring our handmade paper products to you! Each note pad is 9" x 7", has approx. 52 pages, an inside left hand pocket and a gorgeous studded bead pen in the center. And, each page is imprinted with leaf impressions and the cover inlaid has silk and straw fibers. Really, you just have to hold one in your hands to appreciate it!
