76” of earthy brown and light sea blue make this aromatic and natural runner, tied with a vetiver tassel (which makes it perfect for gift giving, too!) The runner ends are bound with brown, hand woven, cotton endek. When this package arrived, we could immediately smell the light scent of vetiver which is a natural root often used to make perfume or scented oils. Like cedar, vetiver is also used to keep away moths. Grandmothers in the villages of Bali often use vetiver in the cupboard where they store their best ceremonial sarongs. The lovely thing about these runners is that can be machine washed in cold water and laid flat to dry. Their gentle scent cleans the room of kitchen smells and also makes great drawer liners! We love it in our dining room or in our living room where the scent lingers softly.
