African Spirit Good Luck Charm-Ghana

This African Spirit is a good luck charm handmade by Kukwa Arthur who works with a women's cooperative in Ghana.

As it meant to many early African cultures, raffia combined with other materials was used to denote something good, a type of good luck charm. Raffia is still used today in many traditional African ceremonies to ask the gods to bring good things.

Each spirit is totally unique as it will be constructed from a variety of beads so your spirit will be completely special. Kuka assembled each spirit by hand using hand-made Ghanaian beads. The head of each spirit is made from a recycled glass bead and each is approximately 6" long.
